This immersive tour takes you through the heart of Puglia, blending rich history, local traditions, and unforgettable experiences.

ITINERARY – 2025 DAY-BY-DAY

11.00 AM – Meet Franceso and discover the world-famous trulli houses of Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with a private local guide. Learn about the unique history and architecture behind these iconic structures that make the town so charming.

Duration: around 2 hours.

Suggestion to enhance your day: Drive to the nearby town of Locorotondo and enjoy a self-guided visit to one of the most charming villages in the Itria Valley. Stop for a light lunch featuring gelato at Cuor di Panna gelateria. Since you’ll be indulging in mozzarella tasting later, it’s best to save a little room!

3.30 PM – In the afternoon immerse yourself in a hands-on mozzarella-making experience at a family-run dairy in the scenic countryside. After learning the art of mozzarella production, enjoy a delightful tasting session with freshly made cheeses.

10.00 AM – Hop on a Tuk Tuk and explore the enchanting old town of Ostuni, known for its whitewashed buildings and breathtaking panoramic views. This scenic ride offers a captivating overview of the city’s history and charm, with insightful descriptions along the way. While it’s not a guided walking tour, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation of Ostuni’s unique character as you glide through its picturesque streets.

Drive 20 min and arrive into your next destination in Ceglie Messapica
 
12.00 PM – Continue experiencing the authentic flavors of Puglia at a family-owned estate near Ceglie Messapica. Begin with a leisurely stroll through their vineyards, where you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the region’s winemaking traditions. Following the tasting, indulge in a full traditional Apulian lunch featuring local specialties. The meal will be served in an enchanting setting, surrounded by trulli and the serene beauty of the Apulian countryside.

  • 10.30 AM Lecce private walking tour and food tasting – 2 hours

Immerse yourself in the culinary delights of Lecce’s historic center. Experience the vibrant food scene with at least four tastings of local specialties that define the region’s unique gastronomic identity. From savory bites to sweet treats, this tour offers an authentic taste of Lecce’s rich food culture.

Drive 1 hour from Lecce to Santa Maria di Leuca

2.00 PM – Enjoy a private boat tour aboard a traditional 7.5-meter Sorrentino gozzo, exploring caves, cliffs, and crystal-clear waters.

Duration: 3 hours

Suggested experience for the morning: Before heading to Santa Maria di Leuca, make a stop in Tricase for a scenic stroll along the sea, soaking in the coastal charm. Then, indulge in a fantastic seafood lunch at La Taverna del Porto, a local gem known for its fresh flavors and relaxed atmosphere.

45 min driving to Otranto.

10.00 AM – Start your morning at Otranto’s iconic Castle, then hike to Punta Palascìa, Italy’s easternmost point where the Ionian and Adriatic seas meet. Visit the ruins of San Nicola di Casole, a medieval church, and enjoy a local cheese tasting at a nearby farm.

The hike ends at the stunning Bauxite Lake, famous for its vibrant colors and breathtaking views, perfect for a memorable photo.
